The only catch is that its location is at a narrow side street. It may feel a bit insecure but most feel don’t mind the location. However, solo travelers may want to opt for a more centralized location.

If you’re on a budget, this is a great choice. Additionally, a famous street is just outside it. Furthermore, popular tourist attractions such as Acropolis Museum, The Acropolis and Hadrianis Arch are just nearby. For the room sizes, there are a variety of options such as single, double and family.

Phaedra Hotel

When you stay at this hotel, it is pretty easy to get to the airport since it is a few meters away from Syntagma Square which is where the airport bus is. It may not be the most inexpensive hotel in the city center but it is still a great option. The interiors may need a little improvement but what’s great about it is the housekeeping staff do a great job since the rooms are tidy and it’s in an ideal location. Best of all, the staff are well-trained and mild mannered. In case you need to leave early the next day, just tell them and they will give you your breakfast for you to eat the next day. Now that’s great service!

Myrto HotelFor those who are alright with spending a bit more for their accommodation, this hotel is a nice option. Not only is it just a few steps away from the Monastiraki metro station but there are a lot of nice restaurants and big shopping centers nearby. Some people don’t know this but Monastiraki metro station has direct trains to not only the ferry port but the airport too.
